My background (and first love) is in the arts--music and theater specifically. It is the arts that taught me innovation and what creativity is: taking what you know and linking/presenting it in new ways. Time and time again, whether defining a new position, building programs from scratch, or asserting myself as a team lead or manager, I've taken what's been given to me and created effective action plans to surpass goals and expectations. This isn't done by traditional methods but by channeling curiosity and creativity into effective methods. My platform is no longer a stage, but in presentations, communication strategies, operations, projects, and more. I pride myself on my ability to try anything. I ask questions, and I learn from my mistakes. I never pretend to be the smartest in the room--that's not a room I like being in--but I know the value I bring to each company and organization I work in. If you like people who think outside of the box, I'm your person.
