    I learned about corporate culture, as well as how various teams work together. I was given the opportunity to work on three separate projects- Online Senior Enrollment Applications, Cross Referenced Billing Reports, and Billing History Adjustment Checking. Senior Enrollment- Duplicate enrollment applications were being sent in and were less efficient to handle. I helped create the logic in JCL and COBOL to identify those duplicates and send them to a generated error report for review. Billing Reports- Report numbers online did not match report numbers on print, making the attempt to find them more time consuming. I located all reports in question, and compiled a document of matching report numbers, locations, and titles. Adjustment Checking- Bills sent to groups sometimes need adjustments. With many factors going into those calculations, sometimes miscalculations can be made. I helped design SQL data queries to detect if an adjustment for any particular group was out of the norm, and sent those that were out of the norm along for review. The long term goal was to use those queries in a Java/REST application for use by others.
