Hello! My name is Ashley and I recently graduated from BSN-RN program at West Coast University. I am seeking the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills I have obtained throughout this eventful journey through nursing school. My work experience includes over five years of care giving which ultimately helped me to realize my passion for nursing and helping others. Throughout my time as a caregiver, I have worked closely with individuals in their homes, skilled nursing facilities, as well as in a hospital setting, allowing me to truly understand the importance of building a relationship and trust with each individual. Skills I possess include compassion, dependability, flexibility, the ability to critically think, as well as recognize the diverse needs of individuals and provide culturally competent care. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University which has provided me with the skills it takes to effectively work within a group dynamic and collaborate with patients, family, and additional members of the healthcare team. My goal is to bring forth my educational background and skills to an acute care setting and contribute to a work culture that promotes growth and high-quality patient care for each patient.
