I managed 10 employees and spent time each week marketing to area doctors about the services that my office provides. My clinic averaged 800-850 patients per month. Up until 2016, I saw patients about 70% of the time. My other time was spent performing more corporate-based activities, as the Director of Professional Development. In this position, I was in charge of coordinating all new PT/PTA orientations throughout our 35 clinics, organizing and planning for the in-house continuing education courses we hold for our clinicians throughout the year as well as coordinating our bi-monthly inservices for the Peninsula region of Hampton Roads. I also spear-headed a company-wide compliance program in which I performed quarterly compliance audits on fellow-PTs throughout our company as well as giving semi-annual educational talks on coding and billing to each of our 3 regions (Richmond, Southside Hampton Roads and Peninsula Hampton Roads).
