I recently moved to Jacksonville, FL to explore new career opportunities that involve children in early education. I currently hold a Human Development and Family Studies Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, which helped further develop my future career goals of working with children in the school setting. I am motivated by my passion to assist children with or without disabilities attain high self-esteem and to create an environment that promotes a strong sense of accomplishment through enabling participation in activities and education.My most recent experience was through the Monona Community Center’s Parks and Recreation Department. There, I had an abundance of roles including a Program and Inclusion Instructor, Parent-Tot Program Leader, and Day Camp Lead Staff. I also have experience as a Behavior Technician with Childhood Autism Treatment Team (CHATT), which helped strengthen my skills as an adaptable, trusting, and communicable teammate with proficiencies in critical thinking and decision making. This position has also added to my experience working with children with and without disabilities and their families. I also have experience volunteering as a "Buddy" with A Night to Shine through the Tim Tebow Foundation and Occupational Therapy shadowing experience, which have also aided in my skills and experience with children, families, and those with disabilities.
