Ashley is dedicated to supporting rural communities in Southwestern PA who are organizing to protect themselves from the impacts of coal mining and shale gas development. Her experiences growing up and currently living in communities impacted by fossil fuel extraction motivate her work. Formally trained as an engineer and a designer, she’s passionate about using creative strategies to uplift rural communities, particularly those in the region she calls home.
