I joined PPB Capital Partners in 2023 as the assistant vice president of fund accounting. I have a fifteen-year background in the field, six of which were specific to alternative investment fund accounting. At PPB, I handle the oversight of accounting related matters pertaining to each individual fund on the platform. • Managed the full cycle accounting for the company’s mortgage debt fund (Reg D. Handle inter-company accounts receivable billings across a portfolio of 100+ Cash Flow Projections and forecast planning with the VP of Accounting and the CFO. Well versed in GL journal entry and adjustments, including month-end accruals and year-end tax adjustments. Manage investment property bookkeeping and monthly financial close process per GAAP standards. Process and deposit tenant rent payments. Created and manage high-level Excel spreadsheets and databases. Successfully managed the accounts payable clerk at the Los Angeles office. Responsible for all AP functions including invoice coding, check cutting, GL postings, bank reconciliations, etc. Managed and maintained the accounts payables for over 100 entities and 100 bank accounts. Processed check requests, wire transfers, and etc. Promoted within from Accounting Clerk, to AP Manager, to Billings Specialist, and finally to Staff Accountant.
