Duties included operating the cash register, looking up and ordering parts for customers, taking inventory and notifying the manager of parts to be ordered, unloading merchandise and restocking, removing old labels and applying new ones to store merchandise (planograms), and taking down old signs and putting up new sale signs. I also, helped the manager to open/close store, which included running the cash register tapes and accounting for all money acquired that day. Other daily duties included front facing merchandise on shelves, wiping down counters, sweeping/mopping floors, and keeping a clean work environment.

Responsibilities included coating parts with aerospace paint (APL-3), loading and unloading parts, and setting up tooling (setting up parts in tray to be sprayed), filling out paperwork, checking specific gravity of paint, keeping paint pump, gun, and work area clean and free of FOD.

Answered all incoming calls during hours of operations, giving price quotes, garage hours, and setting up appointments. Entered data in company’s software, such as customer vehicle information, and jobs as they were completed in order to run the end of day report.
