CurrentTrainer July 2019 – Present• Facilitate training shifts with incoming trainees, including how to accurately document complete EMRs for patient encounters; how to navigate Epic Systems, how to navigate the emergency department; and how to maintain professionalism with various medical providers• Evaluate incoming trainee scribes after their training shifts and provide constructive feedback for future improvement• Complete chart audits for fellow scribes during their designated shifts to maintain charting consistency• Attend bimonthly trainer meetings to review training objectives Medical Scribe – Emergency Department July 2018 – Present• Assist Emergency Department physicians with documenting patient histories, physical examinations, medical decision making, and discharge orders into EMRs specific to pediatric patients• Accompany physicians, PAs, and APRNs throughout patient encounters• Effectively communicate with attending physicians, physician assistants, and registered nurses to ensure accurate EMRs for pediatric patients in Emergency Departments• Increase physician workflow through efficient and accurate EMR documentation• Maintain professionalism among medical providers, patients, and fellow ED scribes
