As the representative of the Extreme North Region, I supported the development and execution of the volunteer training sessions. I served as a liaison between the agroforestry volunteers of my region and the Peace Corps Administration.

As the first agroforestry volunteer in a small rural area of northern Cameroon, I was primarily responsible for creating the network in which future volunteers would work. Using a system of needs assessment, I supported community groups in identifying local solutions to local issues. Through the cultivation of a small field, I identified specific opportunities for future applications of agroforestry techniques.I taught short-term English and Environmental classes at several local schools. I was also involved in various local HIV/AIDS awareness events.
