Provide extensive logistical and office support to the 5 Senior Directors of Visa Research and our research team across 3 geographic regions. Duties include: • Calendar management, small to large-scale event planning and execution, travel-related planning, and expense reporting. • Take leadership in running our vibrant Intern program, insuring a compelling intern experience • Serve as the primary POC for end-to-end planning of high profile academic and professional conferences hosted at Visa on behalf of our department.• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative professional relationships with internal and external business partners, including several levels of management, Visa employees and Visa clients• Plan onsite and offsite team meetings and events. Human Systems Integration Division:Airspace Operations Laboratory:Evaluate future air traffic management systems and associated human-system interactions.Create high-fidelity human-in-the-loop simulation environments to allow for rapid prototyping of NextGen avionics and UAV Traffic Management (UTM) concepts. Simulation environments incorporate aircraft, air traffic management systems, visual displays and communication infrastructure for both current day operations and a variety of future highly automated concepts. Create a research environment that permits the evaluation of new operational concepts including functional allocation of workload and responsibilities between ground-base and airborne-based systems and between the human and automation. Analyze the effectiveness of advanced tools, technologies, and displays in creating high throughput, fuel-efficient flights, within a safety critical discipline. My main responsibilities include designing experimental environments for UAV Traffic Management and ATC Human-in-the-loop studies, flight test/field operations, scenario/test case programming, visual/UI displays tailored to task demands, qualitative and quantitative data collection, data analysis/statistics, and documenting results, including published articles and conference proceedings.Additional responsibilities include public outreach and event planning, coordination and execution of lab capability demonstrations to stakeholders, industry and social events hosted by NASA Public Affairs Office. Also involved in research and integration efforts to gain funding for future projects.
