I lived in China for three years, then Thailand for six years, and moved back to Singapore where I finished the last eight years of my pre-university education. I graduated high school in 2018 with an IB Diploma from UWCSEA.After graduating, I took a GAP year to gain work experience in the F&B industry at different restaurants. One of them was a full-time 5-month contract as a Commis III chef (lowest level junior chef) at BreadStreetKitchen located in Marina Bay Sands; this is the place where I feel gave me extremely valuable experience in interacting with co-workers and working under pressure. I assisted in the pastry section briefly before being transferred to appetisers. I'm especially grateful to everyone who helped my during my time working in BreadStreetKitchen and in my other jobs.I have graduated from the liberal arts department (iCLA) of Yamanashi Gakuin University in order to receive an undergraduate Liberal Arts degree in August 2023.I studied the Japanese language in depth during my 4 years of study, and am proficient in English as a native speaker. I once entered a short story contest in Singapore called "Plot Pourri" when I was 17 and I was awarded editor's pick, with the honour of being published in a short story anthology.I enjoy learning Japanese and taking care of my health. My father is Singaporean and my mother is Indonesian, and I have one older sister and a younger brother. I am raised by a Christian family, and I am still Christian. I wish to do my best in my job and contribute to a positive working environment for everyone.
