I work for a non-profit CDFI organization called Spruce Root. We provide Business Resources & Entrepreneurial Support to Southeast Alaskan Residents. Our team is piloting a program called Alaska Native Resilience Circles. This new program provides a holistic approach to fostering and healing indigenous entrepreneurs who have suffered from challenges related to historical & generational trauma. We tailor a year-long coaching/mentorship program designed to fit the business needs of our enrolled participants. In this first ever cohort, is 10 indigenous entrepreneurs and a team of highly-skilled practitioners who are subject experts in many focus areas such as mental health, physical health, cultural wellness, and more. I also work closely with our Path to Prosperity’s Technical Assistance Team where I coordinate direct client intake and navigation, assist in administrative functions, and provide logistical planning and support.
