In addition to conducting stock research and analysis to provide investment recommendations to clients, as a Financial Advisor Intern at Edward Jones, I had the opportunity to inform market strategy through data analysis. Along with other interns, I surveyed 905 participants nationwide to measure financial literacy and demand for financial services across varying demographics. I was able to present my findings to region leaders and area advisors and provide recommendations for existing and future offices.

Driven is a social enterprise empowering homeless individuals in Austin through work opportunities developed with local business partners. Driven is based out of The University of Texas at Austin and is partnered with the Longhorn Start-up Lab and Capital Factory. In addition to collaborating with a team of students to create a business model for a start-up non-profit organization, developing a SWOT analysis, and consolidating market segments and channels to reach target markets in the Austin area, as Financial Director, I worked to create a monthly cash flows model to project profit margin from estimated costs and earnings in order to ensure start-up sustainability.

As a Corporate Responsibility Intern at JPMorgan Chase, I supported capacity building, financial capability, and nonprofit engagement strategy for six multi-state regions. I employed my skills in data mining and analysis to understand the behaviors of 270+ nonprofit organizations and provide recommendations as to how they could be better served.

Ryan Guillen is the Texas State Representative for House District 31, which encompasses Starr, Atascosa, Duval, Brooks, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, La Salle, Live Oak, McMullen and Willacy counties.As Assistant to the Chief of Staff, I helped organize and lead the 12th Annual Student Legislative Session from start to finish, bringing in 200 students to Capitol grounds. I also developed a cost analysis for all bi-monthly mailed material to see which variables would substantially reduce office costs. Furthermore, I assisted communication and policy directors in writing bill analyses, managing social media, and confirming office financials, in addition to working on the Representative's campaign, on a day-to-day basis.
