Provide support for software clients using a broad range of troubleshooting skills to support the installation and use of EQuIS, EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System.

- Provide hydrogeology and water resource support to oils sands mine operations including support for operations and processes affected by or from groundwater; monitoring aquifer conditions and depressurization progress; and collection and reporting of data on groundwater conditions.- Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation of the depressurization well and groundwater surveillance networks consisting of vibrating wire piezometers and in-well pressure transducers. - Oversee ongoing well alterations and maintenance for both the VWP, and depressurization network, tracking well status through Power BI. - Prepare and present monthly surveillance package of hydrogeology data for the client including hydrographs, hazard maps, and stacked cluster graphs. - Manage various other requests, such as: completion of environmental site inspections using ArcGIS software, potable water sampling utilizing ProntoForms and Power BI, 24-hour rain inspections, supporting the field drilling program in a logistical capacity.

- Complete Phase 1 environmental assessments to determine the areas and contaminants of potential environmental concern at industrial and commercial sites.- Collaborate with clients and regulators to complete EPEA Approval Renewal and Amendment application submissions that align with regulatory body requirements.- Research legislation and customer commitment information and organize the results to aid clients in managing their legal and public commitment requirements.- Participate in the development of closure plans, audit protocols, and other compliance documents.- Facilitate stakeholder discussion sessions for the identification, evaluation and mitigation of project risks; monitor and report on the completion of stakeholder assigned tasks identified in these sessions. - Analyze data for economic assessment software models where social, environmental and economic variables are quantified to represent risks and benefits to stakeholders.

- Assist Project Managers with groundwater and surface water monitoring project execution, performing field parameter measurement and sample collection efficiently and accurately, abiding by company SOPs, and POPs.- Led a team on a bi-yearly shallow groundwater monitoring compliance program consisting of 300 groundwater monitoring locations.- Mobilize to remote locations to work challenging and potentially extended hours under varying weather conditions. - Mitigate field program challenges through effective planning and creative problem solving. - Comply, and understand the importance of established safe work practices and utilization of safety tools such as JSAs and hazard identification reporting programs.

-Coordinate the database services for Edmonton and northern Alberta offices.-Implement recommendations derived from audits.-Communicate and document changes to procedures.-Act as liaison between database group and technology services manager.

-Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that field data is recorded effectively, analytical data processing is executed with attention to detail and project deliverables are on time.-Generate and format tables, statistical analyses, visual representations of data from EQuIS databases using Excel based tools and macros for inclusion in provincial environmental regulatory reports. -Conduct entry of field data quickly and accurately.-Work within the provisions and guidelines of the enterprise management system for quality assurance.

-Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation including the Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Ion Chromotograph (IC), Autotitrator, and pH/EC meters.-Develop, revise, and validate laboratory test methods.-Record, transfer and upload instrumentation results into LIMS database system.-Prepare reagent, calibration and quality control check solutions.-Prepare soil, water and vegetation samples for analysis.
