As a first year Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at Belmont University, I am excited to continue to gain knowledge and experience in the vast profession of Physical Therapy. As a student, I will have the opportunity to work alongside my classmates and peers for the next three years before entering the clinical world. My time shadowing and interning has allowed me to gain an interest in neurology, pediatrics, and hip related injuries.Prior to starting school at Belmont University, I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. Through my time at Baylor University, I was involved in organizations such as Alpha Lambda Delta, Animal Rescue Club, Student Physical and Occupational Therapy Association, and Zeta Tau Alpha. I worked hard in school to graduate a semester early with Summa Cum Laude honors.I look forward to earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and joining the profession of Physical Therapy alongside my peers.
