As IYI’s Vice President of Data & Communications, I lead initiatives that build and strengthen marketing and communications, foster strategic partnerships, and expand relationships with other influencers and stakeholders. I oversee IYI’s Data & Research services to educate, equip, and empower the youth services field through actionable data that drive solutions for youth well-being. Additionally, my team is responsible for internally evaluating the effectiveness and reliability of IYI's programs and services.

I work to promotes awareness of and engagement with Indiana Youth Institute through internal and external communications, tracking and evaluating channel performance, making strategic adjustments as necessary. I work in coordination with other departments on all IYI events, including conferences, statewide awareness campaigns, and all local and statewide trainings.

Lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all marketing, communications, and media relations, including speaking engagements, newsletters, social media, fundraising marketing, email solicitations, and customer journeys.

Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Color & Trim Program; Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Certified Pre-Owned Account; A smattering of other accounts and projects ... although working with the entire Ford Motor Company marketing division keeps me pretty busy.

· Worked on the New Business, Pro bono, International, Certified Pre-Owned and Ford Funding accounts · Assisted with the 2010 Ford Fusion and Mustang launch campaigns · Part of the New Business team that worked on the successful pitches of ScottsMiracle-Gro, Bell Helicopter and the Detroit Symphany Orchestra · Trained a fellow coordinator to take over the Ford Funding account during the Retail First transition · Served as the communication link between team members to build and maintain inter-department relationships · Opened and maintained production job files, prepared and submitted job estimates and maintained production schedules, performing the role of a project manager · Cooordinated internal approvals of production materials, maintained accurate and thorough records for audits · Managed material instructions to publications, facilitated shipments with production department and kept records of related communications · Coordinated work-start and pre-production meetings and maintained associated project timelines · Acted as the internal gatekeeper for instructions and information · Gained exposure to all elements of the advertising process within an agency and client communications

Cedar Banks is Michigan State's chapter of the American Advertising Federation. We participate in AAF's National Student Advertising Competition where we create an integrated marketing campaign for a real-world client.I managed, coordinated and directed all aspects of the team and the campaign.
