In this role, I teach first-year English composition. I help students develop essential written and verbal communication skills that will help them succeed throughout their college careers.More specifically, I:- Introduce students to various modes of academic writing- Encourage students to practice various composition modes (i.e., hand writing, digital writing, etc.)- Address students' writing insecurities- Celebrate students' writing accomplishments- Communicate with students face to face and online- Collaborate with a graduate administrative student to ensure student success

In this role, I helped students develop compositional skills in group and individual settings.More specifically, I: - Created group lesson plans- Created individualized lesson plans- Conferenced with students individually- Collaborated with professors to ensure student success- Created original teaching materials for use in the classroom- Created original teaching materials for use on social media- Designed a social media marketing plan- Designed promotional material for use on social media- Participated in writing workshops
