Ashley is responsible for overseeing the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funding program planning, development, implementation, and execution of training sessions, job aids and educational materials for public water suppliers that are potential applicants for the BIL funding. Specific duties include: Overseeing the development and implementation of technical assistance tools; Conducting ongoing assessment of training programs; identifying and maintaining an inventory of resources and tools used to implement funding programs; collaborating with diverse stakeholders, linking DWSRF and BIL program participants to resources to ensure successful project implementation; developing and managing tracking systems to ensure Environmental Protection Agency reporting requirements; identifying current and future needs within the water workforce; and recommending and providing solutions to implement, sustain, and optimize engagement in New York’s water workforce.
