Research, develop, and present Refreshingly Simple Renovations design, specifications, and implementation guides for re-branding properties. Manage all FF&E specifications for three brands and ensure all products and services meet brand standards and help enhance design for optimized guest experience. Served as on-site space planner at US Department of Energy headquarters, reporting directly to the Office of Logistics and Facility Operations. Duties included meeting with customers to gather and assess requirements, present a project proposal, work with the customer from the programming phase through design development, prepare construction documentation and coordinate with the customer through construction and occupation. Project scopes included systems furniture layouts, block and stacking plans, office moves, minor alterations, space utilization surveys, and renovations within headquarters facilities and leased buildings. Prepared construction drawings using AutoCAD software; incorporating demolition, construction, telephone and data, electrical and panel plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, finishes, life safety and fire protection compliance, security, assets and personnel. Coordinated with space management and facilities teams to ensure jobs were designed to uphold building and industry codes and standards, and construction was completed properly while adhering to the Departmental Directive's criteria. Completed Independent Government Estimates and IDIQ estimates for each construction job. Updated and maintained "As-Builts" in AutoCAD for all headquarters and leased buildings following each construction job.
