Founded in 2005 as a grass-roots initiative and incorporated in 2020, Kingston Gets Active (KGA) is a collaborative based in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) that represents health, education, research, recreation, social, and municipal sectors. KGA’s mission is to promote, encourage, and support residents of KFL&A to be physically active on a daily basis. Through collaborative planning, community action, and policy advocacy, we strive to promote physical literacy and to connect children, youth and adults with local opportunities to be active.
