Ashley has been around the construction industry her entire life with her father, Dan Kent, being a builder and her mother, Miriam Kent, as a distinguished MIRM real estate agent. Learning the business ‘from the ground up,' Ashley spent several years under the tutelage of her dad, Bob Whitten, and the SMA Group in the field in the warranty department and as a project manager for Kent Homes. Ashley joined the sales team in 2015 and began working with Bob Shultz, producing tremendous results as a new home sales professional. Most recently, Ashley has become VP of Sales & Marketing with Kent Homes, leading the sales team to record growth while maintaining one of the highest recommendation rates in the industry. In March of 2018 Ashley was recognized as a 40 Under 40 superstar by the editors Professional Builder and honored as one of the home building industry's young leaders at the age of 27. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, listening to live music, cheering on the Carolina Panthers football team, boating, spending time with family, friends and her two dogs.
