I provide training and technical assistance to state grantees in designing and implementing Infant Toddler Court Teams for families involved in the child welfare system.

I planned, directed, and oversaw the daily activities of the Orphans’ Court Division, with a focus on caseflow management and data and file reviews. I compiled, tracked, and reviewed relevant data and worked collaboratively with the Administrative Judge for court innovation and improvement. I supervised the county’s implementation of the statewide Guardianship Tracking System, and reviewed and tracked annual guardianship reports to ensure timely filing and safety of incapacitated individuals. I served as the court-appointed Authorized Representative for adoption search cases. I also reviewed and tracked all adoption filings from initial filing, through termination of parental rights, to adoption finalization. I worked with the multi-disciplinary Elder Access to Justice Roundtable to plan, organize, and implement stakeholder meetings and an annual conference.

Wynnewood, Pa

I served on the agency's Development team, assisting in ongoing agency improvement and development of new programs and services. I tracked statistics for the agency and provided analysis for all staff on a monthly basis. I also created and updated policies, procedures, and agency materials for prospective adoptive families and expectant parents. Additionally, I assisted in creating continuing education training opportunities for professionals and clients, including an Infant Adoption Awareness Course for CEU credit for nurses and social workers, and a Transracial Adoption Education Course for prospective adoptive parents.

Wynnewood, Pa

I hired, trained, and supervised social workers and office managers in two offices within the Adoptions From the Heart network. I worked closely with the social work staff to consult and offered guidance for difficult cases. Additionally, I continued to carry a small caseload of prospective adoptive families.

I assisted prospective adoptive parents through their adoption process, providing counseling, home study services, and post-placement services. I also worked with expectant parents discussing options including adoption. For women choosing adoption, I assisted with adoption planning, including providing counseling, facilitating meetings with prospective adoptive parents, and advocating with hospital planning.

I worked as a domestic violence hotline phone coordinator, answering the Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline and providing resources and phone counseling to survivors of domestic violence in the Philadelphia area.

I maintained a caseload of at least 15 children placed in kinship and foster homes, including children whose goals are reunification, adoption, and permanent legal custody. My position included visiting children in foster homes twice a month to ensure safety and supervising and facilitating visitation between children and their biological families. I also created individual service plans and kept quarterly progress reports for all of the children on my caseload.
