Assist Compliance Manager in supporting the legal and financial administration of the Consumer Products Group. Major responsibilities include managing and ensuring accuracy of data entry for all Consumer Products license agreements and amendments in rights management system; tracking all license agreements in legal management system and Consumer Products database; maintaining Consumer Products document files with most up-to-date and relevant information; corresponding with licensees regarding all contractual obligations, including marketing co-op, business plans, etc.; working with Finance department to ensure accurate and timely royalty reporting from all Consumer Products licensees, including proper coding of templates; liaise among Consumer Products, Legal and Finance on default, termination and collections matters; follow-up when necessary with Finance department on all A/R past dues and outstanding issues (advances, royalty payments, unapplied cash, credit memos, etc.), and performing related duties as required.

As the research assistant to Professor Jessica Van Parys of the Department of Economics, my responsibilities included researching, collecting and compiling information; maintaining and updating quantitative databases, and processing, consolidating and transforming data sets within and between databases using econometric techniques.

As a Licensing Intern working for the Sidewalk Cafe division, I utilized technical infrastructure through the ALBA database in order to assist in the automation of mail merges, check processing, and license approvals, reviewed legal compliance of various public and private sector agencies through the assistance of various local and state databases, managed the local database for the digitization of DCA documents to assist in DCA sustainability initiatives, drafted licensing division manual regarding file digitization and technical infrastructure maintenance (Quattro, file Management, approvals, mailings etc.).

At the Abraham Group, LLC, an international strategic consulting firm, I conducted research and wrote reports on economic and political conditions in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, analyzed and tracked geopolitical events related to various industries and sectors, including the gasoline, created and edited letters, memos, and other documents, and assisted the team in developing macro themes supported by micro statistics for briefings.

The program is a partnership between The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC), in Washington, D.C. and the U.S.-Japan Research Institute (USJI). Students from TWC and various Japanese Universities collaborated on civil society initiatives addressing needs to help with the recovery of the Tohoku region in Japan devastated by the earthquake. While enriching a cultural understanding between U.S and Japan. Also, created a program that can be feasibly implemented in the Tohoku region with financial, marketing, fundraising, and evaluative strategies.

I entered data into Excel spreadsheets to track campaign contributions and key donor information, verified contributor data in order to comply with Federal Elections Commission requirements, contacted voters by phone and in person to share key campaign messages, and coordinated events, including campaign visits to neighborhood senior centers.
