I believe I can leverage my educational background and experience in social services to provide valuable insight and assistance. I am confident I can bring a unique and valuable perspective to the organization. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further. I am a Junior at Tallahassee Community College and studying Sociology. I have a strong passion for helping others and making a difference in the community. I am passionate about the field of Sociology and believe that I have the skills to be a successful intern. Skills I have acquired are problem solving, critical thinking and cultural competence. My Myers Briggs personality type is ENFP-T, the campaigner. According to the test, I am Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospective.Some Awards I have received include the following: Tallahassee Community College, Tallahassee, FL-The Dean's List in 2023Northland Church, Longwood, FL-Honorary Service Work Award in 2019 This award had to do with my volunteer hours and service hours while attending this church. I was able to volunteer in many places throughout the church. I exceeded the amount of hours you needed for the program I was doing, so I received this award.The Masters Academy, Oviedo, FL-The Honors List in 2017 through 2020I received this award at my high school for completing the year with superb grades and extracurriculars.I have also spent my time volunteering and offering services to my community for the past decade. This includes: NORTHLAND CHURCH, LONGWOOD, FL-This is where I completed the majority of my volunteer work. Here I would partake in a wide range of services like feeding the homeless, offering resources to people with addictions, helping in foster homes, working with single moms, offering services to veterans, and working with special needs. One special event that I helped host was the Prom for people with special needs. The best part about it was that it was open to adults as well. We were each paired with one of the guests to bring to the prom. It was a great experience that I partaked in for many years.
