I'm a self-taught creative writer in the process of gaining more knowledge in that particular field. My goal is to dive into the industry and write until something sticks, and then write some more. I'm an aspiring freelance writer who loves to write anything from blog posts to scripts. My current occupation is far from where I hope to land in the near future. In the world of Direct Mail, I've put all my skills to the test. Scheduling and managing inventory and production for a company has allowed me to be assured in time management, efficient in details, and a constant critical thinker. Working in such a fast paced environment has challenged me on many levels. I work with a team of other people from various different departments, as well as, other companies who do business with us. Through interacting with others on a daily basis, I have a matured and professional demeanor. My second job is my education. Aside from working a 50 hour week, I attend Full Sail University, ten months shy of a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment. All of my current classes are online. When I was on campus, I was involved in the creative writing club, where I shared my work with others and gave feedback to others on their work. This gave me a feel for constructive criticism-- how to take it and how to give it. I am one who will never stop wanting to learn more. Reading books, listening to music, or simply taking a long drive are a few ways I open my mind to learning how to write. Inspiration is key. With my positive work ethic, unaltered determination, and wild imagination, I want to make my goals and my dreams one in the same as a member of the Creative Writing Industry.
