Assists with strategic planning of our health plans in order to provide the best care possible for our employees. Coordinate and lead annual open enrollment including employee communication and meetings with appropriate 3rd party vendors.Administer Family Medical Leave (FMLA). Determine eligibility for other leaves of absence and track usage by employee. Ensure that federal regulations are met.Process Workers’ Compensation claims. Ensures compliance with the PPACA mandate throughout the plan year. Audits payroll system for yearend preparation of annual IRS 1095 and 1094 forms.Advocate and assist with company’s CU Well Program strategic program. Attend wellness meetings and assist with administration of wellness initiative. Assists with maintenance of wellness portal. Gathers employee data and oversees the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of invoices for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.Conducts benefit presentation in New Hire Orientations.Administer Tuition Reimbursement program, analyze and prepare reporting on benefit usage to management staff. Maintain employee retirement plans (401k, DB, plans) including data entry and maintenance with 3rd party systems as well as assisting in employee education. Initiate COBRA notification to third party vendor. Monitor that notifications are made within time limits and according to federal regulations. Receive and record COBRA insurance premium payments.Complete special projects as assigned.
