Assisting the supervisor in the planning and implementation of the SACC program to ensure that the program is delivered in compliance with the policies and procedures established by the YMCA and in accordance with the Day Nurseries Act. Responsible for the supervision of children at all times during program to ensure the health and safety needs of all are met.

Working one-to-one with an individual with Williams Syndrome to increase independence with activities of daily living including meal preparation and schedule planning. In addition, to be an active member of the community including volunteering and utilizing the local YMCA.

Completed 440 hours as a voluntary practicum student for a term. Motivate patients to attend programs. Assist facilitating programs including; Goal Setting, Creative Expressions, Community Outings, Stretching, and Move that Body. Document in patients charts after every group recreation program, one-to-one recreation program, and one-to-one recreation assessment and follow-up meetings. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Completed 80 hours as a voluntary practicum student. Designed and implemented two recreation programs. Encouraged members to participate in recreation programs. Assisted running programs including Breakfast Club, Run/Walk, and Workouts.
