Camp Raven Knob is a nationally accredited Boy Scout summer camp in the mountains of North Carolina.As a staff member, I acted as a customer service representative to troops during the arrival and check-in process, answering questions about the camp and resolving issues as they arose. I instructed sessions on the shotgun merit badge, teaching scouts gun safety protocols and their importance, laws, shooting technique and proper gun care. As an instructor, I assisted students on the range, lending advice, making corrections, and most importantly, enforcing range safety rules.

As a tutor for America Reads, I assisted students in elementary classrooms with reading and math skills, administered proficiency assessments and graded student work.
