I have a passion for building multidisciplinary collaborations that improve patient care, research, and professional education. I have built my career in infectious diseases clinical practice, creating and sustaining antimicrobial stewardship programs at academic and community teaching hospitals. I maintain patient safety and quality as my north star. Training others to make smart clinical decisions will be my lasting legacy. I currently practice at UNC Medical Center as part of the Carolina Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, and with infectious diseases consult teams. I hold a dually funded role with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, where I teach infectious diseases pharmacotherapy content in elective and required courses. My interests are in health care innovation, antimicrobial use, and antimicrobial stewardship intervention and policy. I work successfully and efficiently with a broad array of collaborators and trainees. I am highly self-directed and like to tackle new challenges.
