This nontraditional, alternate education space allowed students to explore & capture intergenerational storiesthrough a critical consciousness lens. Youth media literacy work. Mentored and guided youth from all across San Francisco that were from the Mission, Bay View Hunters Point. The Youth created a documentary about the Iron Triangle- documenting and exploring the impacts of environmental racism across the Bay Area- from the toxic land & gentrification of Bay View Hunters point, from Richmond's Refinery to the construction of the Port of Oakland.
