•Support the business planning process, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and strategic planning processes•Perform and review detailed reporting and analyses of monthly financial information to include revenue and cost variances, trend analysis, as well as proactively monitor large expenditures and swings in revenue, cost and margin from month to month •Review and monitor revenue recognition checklists for new awards and changes to recognition accounting processes•Assist executive leadership to implement changes required to achieve planned performance•Perform deep dive financial reviews for Sector VPs to present ideas for margin improvement •Providing timely and accurate financial analytical support and information to CGI Federal business unit leadership both as regularly scheduled and in response to ad hoc requests •Supporting project reviews, opportunity and delivery review meetings as well as ongoing audits with accurate financial data and value added financial analyses•Coordinate with multiple intra-company departments such as Contracts, Subcontracts, Time and Labor, and Pricing to ensure each program was performing in accordance with their contract•Track performance for Key metrics such as Bookings, DSO and Work in Process•Manage and support analysts, including complete of performance reviews, adequate training and knowledge of accounting rules, company systems and the overall business performance•Support annual audit and other periodic internal and external audits as needed

Analyze and explain the variances and swings from previous forecasts and actuals. •Compare and track the billable versus non billable hours•In charge of month-end financial accounting and reporting processes for assigned contracts •Create and update Estimate at Completions (EAC) •Manage Subcontractor funding, and invoicing•Responsible for all Government invoicing•Providing timely and accurate financial analytical support and information to CGI Federal business unit both as regularly scheduled and in response to ad hoc requests •Calculating and processing monthly accruals•Supporting project reviews, opportunity and delivery review meetings as well as ongoing audits with accurate financial data and value added financial analyses•Coordinated with multiple intra-company departments such as Subcontracts, Time and Labor, and Pricing to ensure each program was performing in accordance with their contract•Provide guidance to lower level analysts

•Support all Project Control functions, including planning, tracking, performance and variance analysis and reporting•Develop Work Breakdown Structures and Budgets that lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baseline•Develop and maintain Estimates at Completion and budgets•Monitors project costs and commitments, schedule performance, and performance against the baseline•Set up charge numbers and address accounting issues for projects•Interface with members of Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable functions•Work closely with the Contracting Officer Technical Representative to ensure adequate funding is available for projects
