I'm an HRIS professional who is passionate about supporting employees, coworkers, and identifying process improvement solutions. I believe that a positive attitude is contagious and essential to create a culture where employee know that they have an HR team that is supportive and and effective to work with. I'm someone who likes to understand how the full lifecycle of a process is conducted. This is a great way to understand how each step contributes towards the end result and can be a helpful tool to identifying opportunities to reduce time and cost. I have worked in high volume environments where my project management skills allowed me to successfully address a number of requests and functional needs. Responsibilities have included training, mentoring, administering and managing company benefit plans, working with third-party vendors, identifying opportunities to enhance the usage and coverage with HRIS (UKG Pro and ADP), and negotiating new and renewal contracts with employee benefit vendors. I've been fortunate in my HR career to have the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills towards a focus in HRIS and reporting. This work has included identifying how we're currently using the system, identifying opportunities to enhance utilization of the current system and available upgrades, and creating reporting for the HR team and department managers. At this stage in my career I'm looking to continue my growth and development focused in HRIS, reporting, project management, and the opportunity to work in additional areas of HR such as Onboarding/Offboarding to assist in my knowledge and understanding for how the HR team as a whole will be utilizing the HRIS.
