The Educational Technologist is a tier 2 position for dealing with campus-wide academic technology. Prompt, accurate, and excellent customer service is expected when providing assistance and resolution for educational technology related questions and requests.This position works in coordination with other Academic Technology and Client Services staff. This position serves as the primary technical and systems administrator of the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS). Work involving the LMS includes adding/removing users, adding/removing courses, troubleshooting, technical issues, and providing regular maintenance.Additionally, the Educational Technologist provides training and support for the LMS and any other relevant Academic Technology supported software, hardware, tools, and applications. Examples include Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint, Hypothes.is annotation tool, Apporto remote desktop, third party publishers such as Pearson and McGraw Hill, Google Sites and Slides, and 3D printing and modeling.The Educational Technologist resolves issues with these technologies (and more) by identifying, troubleshooting, and communicating with end users and using established techniques, procedures, practices, and methodologies to accomplish departmental goals.This position also supervises the Innovation Lab in the LINC, a group of student employees that provide technology tutoring, 1x1 support, and group workshops. This position works closely with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to provide campus wide technology-based teaching solutions for faculty and staff and the Division of Extended Studies programs for Independent Study and Online courses for the improvement of asynchronous course experiences.

The Data Analyst and Technology Manager for the Institute of Cannabis Research (ICR) at CSU Pueblo is a multi-faceted role that manages all technological aspects for the program. It focuses on managing data and information, account management, being responsible for its technology platforms, overseeing research funding competitions, and providing communication support for internal and external stakeholders.This position manages ICR data, including monthly financial reports from the Kuali financial system and survey data gathered from webinars held through Zoom for tracking purposes and to provide indications for strengths and weaknesses in current processes. In addition to using Zoom to schedule department meetings, host webinars on research topics related to cannabis, and record reviewer sessions for funding competitions; this position also oversaw the creation and sending of mass emails on ICR initiatives (webinars, conference updates, and events) from the department's ConstantContact account, using Canva to create promotional materials and informational fliers, updating the ICR's LinkedIn and Facebook pages with current information, revising the ICR's webpages on the Colorado State University Pueblo through the Cascade Content Management System, and overseeing the information and data side of running annual funding competitions in the InfoReady platform.The Data Analyst and Technology Manager is a key collaborative member of the ICR team that assists in planning and executing monthly webinars series', an annual conference, and an annual report.During my time in this position, I also worked alongside the ICR Director to determine and award funding to several STEM projects focused on answering questions around cannabis, and created contracts for these projects in the absence of a contracts manager. This position also managed the closing of a fiscal year with a collection of internal accounts, the total amount of funding managed equalling $1.2 million.

As the Program & Outreach Specialist at the Barkman Branch Library of the Pueblo City-County Library District, I worked in tandem with the Assistant Branch Manager to design and execute dynamic educational, cultural, and creative programs and events tailored for diverse audiences including toddlers, elementary/middle school children, young adults, and adults in our community.In alignment with PCCLD's mission and objectives to serve as a welcoming and well-equipped foundation for our community and provide expert service to support the joy of reading, supporting lifelong learning, and presenting access to information from around the world; I collaborate with community experts to reach out and connect with user groups and curate engaging experiences.Furthermore, this position plays a pivotal role in community outreach efforts and focuses on forging partnerships with local organizations to expand the reach of library services.
