I am a highly motivated individual who is constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow in my professional career. I have a Health Sciences degree with research experience and publications in medical genetics, biomedical engineering, cardiology, medical imaging, and mentorship in medical education. Currently, I work as a Research Coordinator with the UBC School of Biomedical Engineering where we are exploring the use of artificial intelligence in cardiac medical imaging. I am someone who strives to be a vocal advocate for patients and families facing barriers to care and I have worked in many leadership/advocacy roles in my community (specifically in the areas of health and inclusive education). I am concurrently working towards my Master of Public Health in Health Equity at Boston University to supplement my existing skillset. With this in mind, I aim to move into a more public health/ health equity focused role in the near future.
