With over 20 years of extensive experience in the mining industry, my career has spanned various roles across Australia and Africa. My expertise includes Mining Civil Construction Projects, Opencut Mining, Fixed Plant, and Underground Contract Mining.I began my career in entry-level operational roles, where I developed a strong passion for problem-solving, training, and leadership. This passion, coupled with exposure to some of the best contract miners globally, allowed me to build and lead successful teams to achieve goals and overcome challenges.The guidance and mentorship I received throughout my career were instrumental in my development, helping me transition from entry-level positions to a corporate role as an Operations Manager. A significant highlight of my career was presenting a published paper at a mining conference in Cape Town, which underscored my commitment to improving safety standards in the industry.Driven by my experiences and a passion for continues improvement, a respect for safety learnt the hard way and a true belief that mentorship and training will make a change in the industry for the better.
