Developed appropriations for improvements on machinery and office areas as well as updated plant layouts and safety maps in AutoCad. Implemented safety improvements on machinery to improve ergonomics, cost and servicabilty. Facilitated transfers and retirements of assets between several facilities for Plant Consolidation efforts and implemented a standard process for all future asset transfers as well as trained all personnel on the standard operating procedure. Led and implemented a new initiative around improving productivity and decreasing downtime leading to higher throughput.

Conducted accident investigations and lead safety continuous improvement meetings. Chaired the plant Safety committee and plant Ergonomics team. Implemented a new training program that improved training efficiency, accuracy and retention, while reducing the overall amount of time spent on training efforts. Created two new safety and ergonomic videos to improve training efforts.

Managed a group of 16 machine operators and stock handlers in the offset printing area in both large and small format machinery.Introduced LEAN into the area by involving employees in Kaizen events and problem solving teams which resulted in developing an organizational system for inventory management.
