As an IFR Case Manager at Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU), I oversee the process of individual funding requests (IFRs) for patients who require treatments that are not routinely commissioned by the NHS. I ensure that the IFRs are handled efficiently, accurately, and fairly, in line with the national and local policies and guidelines.I have a first-class degree in Business and Management from Edge Hill University, where I specialised in Leisure and Tourism. I have developed strong skills in data management, problem solving, team organisation, and communication, which I apply to my current role. I am passionate about providing the best patient journey possible, and I am always looking for ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of the IFR service.
