My objective is to find a counselling or theraputic role that allows me to use my counselling/theraputic, teaching, communication, assessment, programming and energetic/intuitive skills. I love working with youth at the Jr. High level & I have done two term positions as a guidance counsellor and others as Student Services. I have also worked in domestic violence for over 7 years. I have lots of experience in counselling with adult females fleeing domestic abuse. I also spent a year+ counselling practicum for my Masters working with males at a resource centre with a variety of counselling needs including: mental health, career development, addictions, childhood sexual abuse & more. I am very interested in professional development, so I feel any counselling role could be an interesting new challenge and I'm always open to new opportunities. I am developing my private practise, but I am not in a rush, I would like to learn all I can and have a career within a school or agency to continue to develop my skills and expand my experiences professionally.
