Designed and launched COVID-19 rapid response food equity program in March 2020, financially sustaining the livelihoods of 400+ small-scale farmers and fishers and feeding over 300,000 people affected by food insecurity across 30 communities in South Africa. Strategy Development and Implementation: • Leveraged rapid prototyping process to quickly launch and scale an end-to-end, equity-driven, sustainable farming and feeding program with local and national partners in 4 out of 9 provinces across South Africa within 6 weeks. Operations Management & Finance: • Lead the day-to-day operations of the organization and project, including supply chain management, budgeting and finance, grant writing, crowdfunding, and multistakeholder reporting. Stakeholder Communications & Partnership Management • Manage all stakeholder communications, including impact reporting, website and social media content development, media inquiries, and radio, television, and academic interviews.

Addressing challenges with accessibility and effective use of school computer labs, in the after-school space in particular. Lack of access to technology tools and STEM education support programmes in disadvantaged schools place learners further behind in terms of developing 21st century technological skills. Human resource deficiencies in public schools are also a barrier to offering technology classes as an after-school activity. This innovative programme seeks to both address learner engagement in after school programmes by providing them with fun, creative and engaging activities in the technology labs, as well as the opportunity to learn new skills, do homework, research and explore personal interests.
