Responsible for handling precertification requests in a timely manner for patients coming to Piedmont Healthcare for radiology, cardiology, infusion therapy, as well as physical and speech therapy services. Tasked with creating and updating workflow processes to ensure patient accounts are handled in a most efficient way, training new staff members, and ensuring staff are properly handling insurance verification and precertification requests through insurance companies. Considered a liaison between management and staff members, my responsibility also lies in the quality of work produced by staff members and myself as well as ensuring staff feel confident in approaching myself and other members of management with concerns and issues that they may have.

Responsible for facilitating weekly and monthly Girls Club sessions at partner school sites and assists with the creation of curriculum for our after-school Girls Club and Girls Club Unplugged programs. Works closely with Program Team to develop ideas on how to increase recruitment and how to maintain enrollment within various Cool Girls programs. Coordinates educational and cultural field trip opportunities for participants and assists with planning and execution of annual enrichment activities (i.e., Holiday Shopping Day, A Beautiful Me, and Camp Pink).
