Leads all aspects of IP prosecution strategy and litigation support, IP filing strategies, and risk mitigation initiatives. ▪ Devises intellectual property (IP) strategy. Oversee the IP prosecution process and develop proactive enforcement strategies to combat IP infringement. Advise executive leadership and key stakeholder’s (e.g., Global Marketing, Product Development, Licensing, and Sales) on IP protection strategy globally (including trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, emerging technologies, and licensing).▪ Leads IP clearance searches, advising on the strengths and vulnerabilities of each IP asset at the concept phase of product and asset development.▪ Leads the trademark dispute strategy (including cancellations, oppositions and litigation proceedings) before IP registries and courts.▪ Drafts, negotiates and advises on a broad range of IP related commercial agreements and management of IP transactional work including licensing and IP due diligence exercises.▪ Creates informational guidelines and presentation materials for business units, including live training sessions, to assist internal clients and stakeholders on implementing IP concepts into their daily projects. ▪ Manage and develop team members.▪ Manage outside counsel relationships, including the selection, engagement, and oversight to ensure efficient and cost-effective legal services. Evaluate opportunities and develop compelling business cases for integration of processes in house.
