During the summer camp session, I serve as the camp's mental health professional and I collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (program directors, medical staff, etc). I also give staff training on topics such as mental health, rapport building and behavior management. I provide suggestions for interventions, and support for campers and staff.Volunteers on the ADA Camp EDI leadership board year round.

Provided school social work services that address the needs of the children and adolescents in the Parkway School District, specifically in the Central Area. Worked closely with the school social worker, school counselors, collaborated with school-based staff and administrators, provided individual counseling services and facilitated focus groups. Participated in care team meetings, assisted in the development of intervention plans, and provided resources when needed.

Facilitated group sessions and worked with children to prevent violence by teaching peaceful conflict resolution skills, anger/impulse management skills, safe dating practices, effective communication, and appreciation for diversity.
