With over a decade of experience in public health education and promotion, I am passionate about community development and health and safety improvement. I have a diverse background in working with different populations and settings, ranging from the military to the nonprofit sector, and from rural to urban areas.As the Director of Community and Employer Engagement at the Wellness Council of Indiana (WCI), I work to connect employers and communities throughout the state to help improve health metrics, drive economic vitality, and make Indiana a healthier place to live, work, learn, and play. I also provide education and access to resources for Hoosier companies to address chronic disease, mental health, substance use disorder, tobacco issues and maternal health. Additionally, I am a certified National Mental Health First Aid Instructor, empowering people to recognize and respond to mental health crises. I am proud to be part of the WCI team, which works collaboratively to positively impact the well-being of Indiana's workforce and residents.
