As the inaugural technical writer for Luma Health, I focus on creating quality technical documentation to support Luma's products and customers.

As Vice President, I help manage the daily operations to keep the chapter thriving. Projects I have worked on include:-- Spearheading the creation of a new monthly e-mail-based newsletter to keep membership informed of Chapter news and opportunities-- Collaborating with the Webmaster and Secretary of the board to revise the content of the organization's website.-- Implementing Google Workspace for Nonprofits as a springboard toward more streamlined communications.-- Creating and managing a social media internship program to provide professional experiences to students while advancing the goals of STC Chicago

• Collaborate with SMEs to write and publish over 3,000 release notes across 9 versions of Epic software using Epic’s proprietary XML-based content authoring programs.• Peer-review nearly 700 release notes for quality, clarity, and consistency with style guidelines.• Manage the creation and publication of updates for 12 unique setup and support guides. • Craft 9 summary documents using Microsoft Word to inform C-suite executives of available features and assist with decision-making.• Review over 300 designs using Epic’s proprietary development log management program to ensure clear end-user-facing, in-system help text.• Compose newsletters in Microsoft Publisher on a bi-monthly basis to inform over 500 infection preventionists about relevant features to leverage in Epic software. • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries regarding documentation as part of a rotating team. • Mentor 3 new team members to help them become confident, productive members of the writing team. • Provide at-the-elbow support for 14 separate installations of the software at customer sites, including bilingual assistance in French and English at a customer site in Canada.• Translate a Request for Proposal from French to English for a prospective Belgian customer, resulting in the signing of that customer.
