DLZ ranks among the top consulting firms in the architectural/engineering industry. Working out of our new Cincinnati office, I focus on building awareness of DLZ's strong reputation and capabilities. My aim is to be a go-to resource for our government partners. I also assist in the preparation of proposals and a range of marketing materials.

OKI is the metropolitan planning agency for the two million residents in the eight-county Greater Cincinnati region. I wrote the executive director's speeches, along with press releases and all other external communications. I drove dynamic public outreach strategies for OKI plans and followed and analyzed pertinent policies at all government levels. My role also required me to maintain a thorough understanding of OKI projects and funding opportunities to serve as an information resource for member communities and the public.

- Wrote all internal and numerous external communications through several mediums- Strengthened relationships and collaborated with community contacts to maximize awareness of Horseshoe’s brand- Evaluated and executed event sponsorships and charitable donations- Led volunteerism committee; organized on- and off-property volunteer and engagement activities

- Managed existing legislative programs and researched and proposed new policy initiatives- Engaged community and business stakeholders in development and deliberation of policy and represented the council member on boards, committees, and in community contexts- Wrote all legislation, speeches, press releases, and constituent communications; managed media relations
