Previous experience also includes pediatric care at Boulder Mountain Physical Therapy 2010-2016, with certification in Hippotherapy (utilization of horseback riding for the patient’s treatment). Ashley has a deep love for seeing her patients improve with specialized one-on-one care. Her continuing education includes certification in dry needling as well as courses in manual therapy for spine care, ACL injury, patellofemoral pain, rotator cuff injury, and foot pathology. Ashley is currently researching and developing speed and agility training for athletes of all sports with an emphasis on proper running mechanics and injury prevention. She has a passion for returning injured athletes to running, and seeing them to get back on the court. Her love for running began after setting her high school’s track and field records in the 800, 4x400, and 4x800 meter relays. She concluded her season as the 5A state runner-up in the 800-meter dash. She was offered full academic and track and field scholarships from ASU, and NAU. Ashley chose to attend NAU for their promising high-altitude track and field training program, as well as their excellent Physical Therapy program. Her college track career concluded with three All-Conference Honors, and first-place finishes at the state meets. Ashley has gained diverse experience in orthopedic injury rehabilitation, speed and agility, and strength training during her professional and athletic endeavors. She has also been busy helping her husband with the logistics of starting his businesses Payne Law, and Payne Financial firms in 2018. She continues to enjoy running and hiking, cross-fit, wakeboarding, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and children.
