Led global marketing & innovation for Science in Sport. The role maximised global brand health and consistency in the execution of brand assets & product science. During this period the SIS brand grew from £9m to £20m revenue; key drivers were eCommerce and International expansion.Achievements and responsibilities included:⢠Responsible for setting overall brand strategy, as well as leading local country managers and teams in developing and executing individual market growth strategies including public relations, co-branded partnerships, online marketing, offline marketing and other activities to drive both brand and category awareness.⢠Led on the identification of all new market entry opportunities and development of brand & athlete insight to support business growth opportunities. In this period opening offices in the USA, Italy and Australia to support the ambition to be >50% International by 2020.⢠Managed a three-year global innovation pipeline based on athlete insight & market trends delivering a minimum of 33% of total company revenue growth each year in the period 2015-2018. Supported by an annual R&D programme into new technologies and human performance.⢠Managed central and regional teams in London, Milan, Melbourne and San Francisco.⢠Creation and development of a best-in-class creative toolkit. Ensuring category leadership in the brand equity areas of innovation, trust, quality and relevancy. ⢠Recruitment and identification of new partnership opportunities to drive step-change growth including Manchester United Football Club, Team Sky, British Cycling & USA Cycling.
