As a Senior Marketing Specialist at VHB I work with technical team to develop and refine quality content for strategic and super strategic proposals, including design-build submittals. I work with the team to develop messaging and strategy to capture what is most impactful to our clients. Elements of my roles and responsibilities include:Client Focus-Thorough understanding of pursuit best practices and how to implement them for impact.-Support and facilitate Client Focus Teams and strategy meetings to build approach and prepositioning strategy. This includes client mapping and competitive SWOT analysis of clients and competition.-Coordinate and support the development of award and other visibility opportunities with clients and A/E/C organizations.Pursuit Focus-Collaborate with key technical staff to lead the development of complex pursuits with support from regional marketing leadership, including strategic Design-Build pursuits.-Develop key differentiators, evaluate pursuit competition, and identify competitive approach strategy. In collaboration with key technical staff, develop value propositions to deliver client-focused content.-Independently write and customize content to bring win themes into each proposal section. Partner with graphic design to identify opportunities for visual enhancement and content co-creation for impact. -Coordinate mult-subconsultant teams to prepare content and required proposal materials. Also work as an extension of contractor staff on Design-Build projects, coordinating with numerous stakeholders to drive content and schedules.-Develop interview materials to align with strategy. Organize and coach technical staff on presentations.Mentor Focus-Mentorship of new and junior marketing staff on best practices. Work one-on-one to coach creating impactful and effective content that meets brand standards. I also provide peer QA/QC compliance checks while identifying actionable ways to elevate a pursuit.
