My career began with working part time as a designer for Square D by Schneider Electric. I made custom email banners, promotional graphics, and custom artwork of their mascot which can be viewed under the design tab of my portfolio. I did this for 5 years while attending college before working at the graphics shop. Artwork I created for them was printed and used in multiple print and digital applications throughout the western United States in their promotional campaigns.

I started out as a designer and production assistant then became the lead designer and production manager. I worked with a variety of programs and machinery on a day to day basis. I am skilled at SAI Flexi, Adobe design software, Latex printers, laminators, Graphtec cutters, and have expertise in vinyl and sign applications. I also have working knowledge of paper and apparel printing as well. I worked on vehicle graphics, signs, and decals of all kinds but I also designed marketing materials such as business cards, fliers, banners, and yard signs. My duties included: being customer facing and first point of contact, taking incoming orders for printed materials, designing with clients, handling billing and office organization, ordering materials for production, maintaining machinery, preprint prep and proofing, printing/laminating/cutting, and post print preparation. I was tasked with taking a customer through the design process from conceptualization to final design, then preparing that design for the print process. With the vehicle wraps I have designed, I have developed a keen eye for important details such as color consistency and artwork cleanliness to ensure high quality, detailed prints with no errors. I completed projects from small decals and signs to large wall wraps and transportation semis. I also updated the website with new photos and managed the social media profiles.

I worked as a preschool aid for then became a preschool teacher for. I also worked in the summers creating and teaching science and art summer camps. I taught multiple classes with age groups ranging from 3 to 7 years old. I taught math, science, reading/writing, French, music, and art. I only worked part time because I was going to college as well and was attending classes at Utah Valley University. I was able to teach kids a love for learning and how to be creative throughout every school subject. I especially loved teaching the art class every other day where I got to help kids discover portions of art history then make fun projects through instructional guidance.
